February 2017 – Triangle Ranked 7th best place to live in the nation. In the U.S. News and World Report’s ranking of the 100 most populous metro areas, the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill metro area beat out other cities.
November 2016 – Holly Springs ranked seventh nationally and the top small city in N.C. in the financial advice website WalletHub’s analysis of 30 key indicators of livability. WalletHub compared 1,268 cities nationwide between 25,000 and 100,000 population on criteria such as affordability, economic health, education, safety, and quality of life.
February 2016 – Holly Springs has been ranked as the safest town in N.C. with 25,000 or more people and the 51st safest in the country by the neighborhood search engine NeighborhoodScout. The Web site’s America’s Top 100 Safest Cities rankings are based on the total number of crimes reported to the FBI per 1,000 population. The crimes are burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, homicide, rape, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.
